Top 5 easy DIY projects

1. Shoe Coloring Want to jazz up a pair of shoes? Get out a few fabric markers and a pair of white shoes. You can use a cardboard paper to use as your design for even lines. Scissors and a pencil will also be needed to measure and cut. Feel free to mark anywhere there is white but leave the shoe laces alone. You can always get colored shoe laces instead.

2. Dried Pineapple Flowers Want to decorate some cupcakes or simply need some flowers for a school project? You can cut open a pineapple and remove any seeds from inside. Begin cutting out thin pieces that are translucent. These can be baked in the oven for fifteen minutes or until crunchy. Once they are ready, you can decorate your cupcakes or anything else you have in mind.
3. Sharpie Coffee Mug Design Create a cute Coffee mug with simple designs or a quote on it. This is the easiest project ever. The only thing you need to do is draw on it with a sharpie and bake in the oven for at least 30 minutes. This is a great project for gifts! Be sure to only hand wash the mug and use only porcelain mugs to draw on.
4. DIY Lightbulb Vase To make the lightbulb vase, you need to remove the inner portion of the lightbulb. Use small pliers to get it out. Once you have done this, you can attach a wire that you've molded into any shape you like. Attach it around the base of the bulb by wrapping it around or with a strong glue. Add water!
5. Spoon Flower Charm Did you know you can make a flower charm just by using plastic spoons? Take a few plastic spoons and cut off the ends. Now hold it above a lit candle to melt the plastic just until it gets soft enough to be molded. Set it down once it resembles a leaf. Once you have five pieces, melt each end and then mold everything together to form a rose.
