DIY Best Friends Phone Cases

1. Trace phone case on back of scrapbooking paper and draw a half heart shape to desired size.
2. Cut out half heart and trace opposite side on scrapbooking paper – cut out. 3. Before placing anything to phone cases, lightly sand the surface of cases with sandpaper.
4. Place one half-heart on each phone case with an even layer of Aleene’s? Matte Decoupage on bottom of paper. Let dry.
5. Once paper heart halves are dry, add a layer of decoupage to remaining surface and sprinkle a generous amount of glitter on top. Be sure to avoid the paper heart as you only want glitter around the heart.
6. When glitter has dried completely, shake off excess glitter and apply another layer of decoupage with another layer of glitter exactly the same as in step 4 (avoiding heart).
7. Once dry, decoupage entire surface of phone cases, covering the paper heart this time, and let this layer dry. Repeat – 2-3 layers should be sufficient to seal the glitter and paper heart to the cases.
8. Add crystals around heart by adding a generous amount of decoupage around the edges and gently placing crystals into position.
9. Once crystals are dry and set, add another two layers of decoupage to seal the crystals in place.
